Ian Dunbar FNAG, RJDip, RJGemDip, PJValDip is a highly respected Jewellery Valuer with 40 years experience involving jewellery, insurance, claim settlement and loss assessment.
Although primarily focused on assisting members of the public, JES also carries out work for the Police, Retail Jewellers and the Insurance industry.
The Jewellery Evaluation Service specialises in providing a swift, professional yet friendly service to you, whether you require advice or a valuation for a single sentimental item or a large important collection of jewellery.

Ian supplies the Institute of Registered Valuers with historic diamond, gold, silver, platinum pricing and RPI protocols and was nominated for the prestigious "David Wilkins Award" from the IRV, in 2008.
Biographical Details
Ian has been involved in many facets of the jewellery trade and the insurance industry since the 1970's, either working for or a consultant to, some of the largest Retail Jewellers and Insurance Companies in the UK.
This has given him a unique understanding of the needs of his clients to ensure they receive the most appropriate documentation and remain fully protected.
He created and ran a complete jewellery valuation centre for a large national Retail Jeweller before becoming the Senior Valuer and Post Loss Claims expert and investigator at a specialist Validation Company.
The Jewellery Evaluation Service was created in 2001 as an Independent Jewellery Valuation Consultancy.
